Võru Kevad XII International Judo Competition, Võru, Estonia

This was a major event in the Baltic states for their "A-klass" age band (1992-1993) and their "C-klass" age band (1996-1997). There were participants from Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Sweden, and the Ukraine. John Jayne was the only participant from Moberly. He had 34 boys in his category. He dominated all of his fights and won four of the five fights by ippon. Both Bronze medals were from John's half of the draw. Arm locks were allowed, but not strangles.
