31st Dutch Open Espoir, Eindhoven, The Netherlands

The 31st Dutch Open Espoir Tournament had over 1000 participants from Belgium, England, France, Germany, Holland, Sweden and the United States. This is one of the top level competitions of the year for juniors in western Europe. It was organised for judoka from 12 to under 20 years of age and was divided into three age categories: under 15, under 17 and under 20. All three age categories allowed both arm locks and strangles.
