UChicago wrestling receives 2016-17 NWCA Scholar-Team

The University of Chicago wrestling team received 2016-17 Scholar-Team status from the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). The Maroons ranked fifth on the list with a team GPA of 3.39. Case Western Reserve University led the contingent of 31 teams with a 3.48 GPA.  Earlier this winter, 10 UChicago wrestlers earned All-Academic recognition from the University Athletic Association (UAA) with 3.30 minimum GPAs.
