John Jayne competed in the Dallas Invitational on Saturday 23 November and in the Presidend’s Cup the following day. Both days he fought in the Senior Men’s -100 kg. On Saturday John got Silver in the Dallas Invitational and won $300 prize money. On Sunday he won Gold in the Presidents Cup (also in Dallas). He weighed in at 91.5 kg. His lose in the final fight on Saturday was on penalties to Tokuzo Takahashi, who beat the 2008 Olympic Champion and 2008 All-Japan Champion (Satoshi Ishii) in the US Nationals Open Weight final in April. There were no scores in John’s final match. John beat all other opponents by ippon. On Sunday, when John won Gold, he beat (in the quarter-final) the 2012 London Paralympic Silver Medalist (Myles Porter) at -100 kg by a yuko and wazari to nil. On Saturday John beat Ajax Tadehara by a yuko, wazari and ippon to nil. The USA Judo Senior -100 kg ranking is below.
