European Juniors Cup 2011,  Lignano, Italy

The Moberly Judo Club had three entries in the European Juniors Cup in  Lignano, Italy, this past weekend.

Adam Conroy entered at -60 kg. He got a bye in the first round, won in the second round against an Italian and lost in the third round to a Turk, who finished 9th. There were 35 entries in the -60 kg draw.

Kyle Clarke-Harewood entered at -66 kg. He lost in the first round to a Belgian, who finished in 5th place. In the repechage Kyle won four matches and lost the Bronze medal match to a Brazilian, and so finished 5th.  There were 45 entries in the -66 kg draw.

David Logan entered at -73 kg. David won his first four matches before losing in the semi-final to the Belgian Silver Medalist. He beat another Belgian for the Bronze medal. There were 52 entries in the -73 kg draw.
