Spain Judo Cup for U15 and U17, Alicante, Spain

This was an international competition with over 600 participants, including the national squad from Wales, that ran over two days. Moberly Judo Club had one participant. John Jayne won Gold at -60 kg in the U15 age band. The five top ranked boys at -60 kg in Spain were in John's draw. He had the third ranked boy in the first round and the first ranked boy in the semifinal. In the quarter final he had a boy that placed 5th in the Spanish National Championships at -55 kg.
