12^th International Judo Tournament for Males Under 15 Years (Born in 1996 & 1997), Duisburg, Germany

This is Germany's premier international competition of the year for boys under 15 years of age (born in 1996 and 1997) and is a Germany national squad selection event. There were 323 participants from 140 judo clubs from Belgium, England, Germany, Holland, Poland, Romania and Slovenia. There were 17 Germany regional squads present. The matches were 4 minutes and both arm locks and strangles were allowed. John Jayne was Moberly's only entry. He won Bronze at -50 kg. There were 53 entries in this weight class.

John won a Bronze Medal in this competition three years ago at -34 kg, the Gold Medal two years ago at -37 kg and the Gold Medal last year at -43 kg.
