11^th International CREATIV-GRAZ Judo Tournament, Frohnleiten, Austria

With 1,246 participants from 149 judo clubs in 16 countries (Austria, Belgium, Bosnia/Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the Ukraine), this is one of the largest, if not the very largest, competition in Europe for children. It was held in a beautiful Sports Centre near Frohnleiten in the mountains just north of Graz.

Moberly Judo Club had one entry, John Jayne. John won the U13 age band at -45 kg. He won all six fights by ippon, didn't give up any scores and didn't get any penalties. Both Bronze Medalists came from John's half of the draw. There were 39 boys representing 14 countries in his category: AUS 8, HUN 8, SLO 5, POL 3, ITA 3, CRO 3, CZE 2, SBR 1, NED 1, UKR 1, SVK 1, GER 1, GBR 1.
