1^st Ippon Trophy Antwerp, Herentals, Belgium

The Moberly Judo Club had one participant in the 1^st Ippon Trophy Antwerp. This competition had the age bands U11, U13, U15, U17 and U20/+20. There were 958 participants: 28 from Algeria, 11 from Armenia, 603 from Belgium, 10 from Germany, 55 from Great Britain, 35 from Luxembourg, 201 from the Netherlands and 2 from Poland.

John Jayne won Bronze in the U15 age band at -42 kg. He lost in the semi-final to the eventual Gold medalist by a yuko to nil. There were 26 participants in the draw.

John did not enter in the U13 age band.
