Olympic Hopes for Cadets "Beskidy 2008", Szczyrk, Poland

Ella Carter-Allen at -70 kg was Moberly Judo Club's only participant at the Olympic Hopes for Cadets "Beskidy 2008" Tournament in Szczyrk, Poland. Ella had a bye in the first round, won her next two matches against Polish opponents before losing in the semi-final to a French girl. She lost the Bronze medal match to another French girl. There were 22 participants in the -70 kg weight class. Ella was the only participant from Great Britain to place in the top eight in any weight category.
