2008 British Wrestling Association English Junior National Championship, Stockton-on-Tees

Two members of the Moberly Judo Club entered the 2008 English Junior National Championship in Olympic Freestyle Wrestling that was held in Stockton-on-Tees by the British Wrestling Association.

Ramon Alexander won FIRST PLACE at 48 kg in the U15 category. He completely dominated every match.

John Jayne won FIRST PLACE at 38 kg in the U11 category, pinning all of his opponents in the first round. At the end of the competition the organisers arranged a "friendly match" between John and the winner of the 42 kg U13 category. Everyone in the Hall gathered around the mat to watch. John won this match by pinning his opponent in the second round, after winning the first round 4 - 1.
