2012 British Wrestling Association English Junior National Championship, Bolton

One member of the Moberly Judo Club entered the 2012 English Junior National Championship in Olympic Freestyle Wrestling that was held in Bolton by the British Wrestling Association. There were two age bands: 7 to 16 years old on the day, and 16 to 20 years old on the day.

John Jayne won 1^st Place in the younger age band at 72 kg, John won all of his matches by pinning his opponent in the first round. This is the fifth time that John has won the BWA Junior English National Championship.

In Freestyle Wrestling the Cadet age band is over three years: those born in 1995-1996-1997. This year the European Cadet Championship will be held in Katowice, Poland, from 17 to 22 July. The World Cadet Championship will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 21 to 27 August.
