International Judo Turnier, Berlin Wilmersdorf, Germany

Moberly Judo Club won nine medals in the International Judo Turnier this last weekend in Berlin (Wilmersdorf), Germany. There were over 500 participants from several countries, including Belgium, Czech Republic, Italy, Holland, Germany, Poland, Russia, and Great Britain. John Jayne won the Gold Medal at -34 kg in the U 11 category on Saturday and was awarded the trophy for the "Best Technique" in this age group for boys. He then won the Gold Medal on Sunday at -34 kg in the U 14 age group, but unlike last year, he did not win the "Best Technique" trophy in this age group this year.
