John Jayne had a bye in the first round and lost in the second round to Jevgenija Borodavko from Latvia. Jevgenija is a former European and World Junior Champion, represented Latvia in the 2012 Olympics, and he got Bronze in the European Championship in 2013. Borodavko went on to win Bronze in Zagreb.
